Deeside Cereals

Deeside Cereals produce a wide range of cereals for many well-known brands, but when they wanted to relaunch their own Perfect Balance brand, they gave us a call.

A great deal of work had been done before they came to us so we already had elements of the brand palette to work with. Our job was to breathe new life into it on a range of breakfast cereals and cereal bars and design a simple web site:  www.myperfectbalance.co.uk.

We simplified the logo and developed a colour scheme, typography and layout style that could work across the range, and we worked with food photographer Huw Jones to create the tumbling grains and splashing milk effect in camera for the cereal boxes.

The cereal bars came in a kid’s range and diet range so our challenge was to appeal to these very different audiences while sticking to the design principles – colour was our ally in that task!

Perfect Balance is doing well with online retailers and a chain of supermarkets in the north west as well as a growing international market.
