Caws Cenarth
Caws Cenarth have been making award-winning cheeses on the family farm for three generations and they commissioned us to redesign the brand and create a suite of packaging that reflects the brand’s provenance and premium position.
We redesigned the logo, sticking with a wood-cut style for continuity, but illustrating the famous water wheel on the River Teifi at Cenarth to give it a genuine sense of place. We drew the mountains leading to the coastline in Cardigan Bay as simple silhouettes that provide the background to the visual identity. A combination of calligraphy and hand-written type convey the artisanal and personal attributes of the cheeses.
The visual identity has been rolled out across all brand collateral including 23 SKUs as well as display materials, signage and in the online world.
