The Ruthin Business Group brought us in to create a brand that would raise awareness of the town and put it on the map for tour groups and visitors.
We went through an extensive consultation process involving public surveys, town hall meetings and brand workshops with a wide cross-section of the local community to unearth what was special about their town, how it compared with neighbouring destinations and who the typical visitors were. We also discussed perceptions and aspirations for the town, and needless to say, everyone has something to say about the place they live!
Experience has taught us that people have to be fully behind a re-brand of their town, so we hosted town hall meetings where our concepts were debated in great detail and shortlisted.
Eventually we arrived at a solution that reflects the stunning landscape and townscape in a clear, contemporary and compelling identity.
We designed a web site to give visitors the information they need and provide local businesses with the opportunity to create and manage their own profiles to form a local directory.
