Branding a destination is one of the most emotive and challenging, as well as the most exciting and rewarding projects we get to do.
Through a process of discovery and public consultation we harnessed the opinions and preconceptions of the local community and – through developing a spirit of unity, aspiration and advocacy for their area – developed a brand which has the interests of the target visitor at its heart.
Our creative concept of a key signifies many of the competitive attributes of Denbigh and on a practical level, it represents the key to the town walls – a unique feature of the town – which is a must for visitors. The gesture of handing the keys to your town to a visitor said everything about the hospitality and welcome that awaits.
We produced a Sense-of-Place Toolkit that the businesses of Denbigh use to deliver consistent messages and speak with one voice which creates a meaningful and distinctive brand for the town.
